I began glass engraving in 2001 and I have been able to use many of the skills I had already learned

from years of being a calligrapher and pyrographer.

Skilled hand engraving requires fine attention to detail, a steady hand and good design.

I am an elected Associate Fellow of the Guild of Glass Engravers and I am also a Craft Member of the Somerset  Guild of Craftsmen.

I am able to hand engrave a wide variety of subjects using various techniques. I particularly enjoy

doing intaglio engraving which gives a pleasing 3D effect. I am able to do inscriptions on glass in

many calligraphic styles.

I live in Somerset in the UK and my work may be seen in several galleries in the county. Much of

my work is commissioned and is now in private collections in a number of countries.

Work in progress includes larger projects to be installed in some churches in south west England.
